Material & Casting Process
All jaw plates are cast in Mn18% high-manganese steel (ASTM A128 Grade B2 equivalent)
using water-glass sand casting. Each plate undergoes solution heat treatment (water quenched) to achieve a fully
austenitic structure, then precision-machined on all mating surfaces for direct fitment into the SAES CX120 frame.
