Jaw Plates 3440.02.010 / 3440.02.020 / 3440.01.110 for СМД-111 Jaw Crusher

High-manganese swing and fixed jaw plates for the СМД-111 (SMD111) jaw crusher. Drawing numbers 3440.02.010 (961 kg), 3440.02.020 (960 kg) and 3440.01.110 (840 kg). Mn18% cast, heat-treated and machined for direct fitment.

СМД-111 (SMD111) Jaw Crusher Wear Parts – Swing & Fixed Jaw Plates

High-manganese swing and fixed jaw plates manufactured by MiningSpares for the СМД-111
(SMD111)
jaw crusher – the Russian-built primary jaw crusher also designated
ЩДП-9х12 and originally produced by Volgotsemmash (ОАО «Волгоцеммаш»).
The set consists of three cast manganese plates that form the primary crushing chamber: an upper and a lower
swing (movable) jaw plate running on the pitman, plus the stationary fixed jaw plate. Each plate is cast,
heat-treated and machined to drawing for direct replacement, with no frame modification required.

СМД-111 Jaw Plate Specification Table

Non. Drawing No. Nom Matériau Poids (kg)
1 3440.02.010 Swing Jaw Plate (Upper) / Movable Jaw Plate Upper Mn18% 961
2 3440.02.020 Swing Jaw Plate (Lower) / Movable Jaw Plate Lower Mn18% 960
3 3440.01.110 Fixed Jaw Plate 2P / Stationary Jaw Plate Mn18% 840
Total set weight 2,761

Item 3 (3440.01.110) is a 2-piece (2P) fixed jaw plate design.

Material & Casting Process

All three plates are cast in Mn18% high-manganese steel (austenitic manganese steel,
equivalent to ASTM A128 Grade B2 / GOST 977-88 grade 110Г13Л) using water-glass sand casting. Each casting
is solution heat-treated (water quenched) to deliver a fully austenitic structure, then precision-machined on
all mating and seating faces so it seats correctly against the СМД-111 crusher frame and pitman.

  • As-cast hardness: HB 200–220
  • Work-hardened surface hardness in service: HB 450+
  • Key benefit: the more the plate is impacted, the harder the working surface becomes –
ideal for the high-compression duty of a primary jaw chamber

Machine Data – СМД-111 (ЩДП-9х12)

For fitment confirmation, the host machine data published by the original manufacturer:

  • Designation: СМД-111 / ЩДП-9х12
  • Feed opening (width × length): 900 × 1200 mm
  • Maximum feed lump size: 750 mm
  • Overall dimensions (L × W × H): 4,942 × 3,150 × 3,300 mm (excluding drive)
  • Machine mass (less components): 54.3 t
  • Application: primary crushing of granite, basalt, quartzite, sandstone, limestone and ores
with a compressive strength up to 300 MPa

Applications

СМД-111 jaw plates are used for primary crushing in hard-rock mining, quarry and aggregate production,
and construction-recycling duties – typically granite, gabbro, basalt and diabase duty in Russian and
CIS crushing plants.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What material grade are the plates supplied in?
Mn18% high-manganese steel as standard. Mn18Cr2 and Mn13Cr2 are available on request for highly abrasive
or high-impact duties.

Q2. Can I buy a single plate rather than the full set?
Yes. Each of the three plates can be ordered separately – just quote the drawing number(s) from the table
above when enquiring.

Q3. What is the lead time?
Machined plates from stock: 7–10 working days. Fresh castings: 25–35 days. Breakdown orders can be
expedited and shipped by airfreight.

Q4. What documentation is supplied?
Every shipment includes spectrometer chemical-composition report, hardness test report and dimensional
inspection report. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) can be arranged on request.

Q5. Is this an OEM part?
No. These are aftermarket replacement parts manufactured by MiningSpares to the original drawings. They are
not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the original equipment manufacturer.
